Lovely, indeed.

It is October, it is birthday month and it just happens that today a very good friend of mine celebrates her birthday, and the best part is that I get to share birthday with her as I am also celebrating another year.

I was not thinking of my birthday as I prepare the card for Dostamper Stars challenge 153, but I was thinking of my friend. She is rather lovely and a very kind person. I pulled out the Awesomely Artistic and with that stamp set alone I made this card. The background paper is the Sweet Lil' Things dsp and the sentiment is from Something to Say stamp set. The bow added the perfect touch to this card, and you can accomplish a bow so perfect as this one by using My Bow Maker. This is a card I have admired each time I held and I will continue to admire, even if only in a photo. Did you like it?

Thank you so much for visiting today. Remember to check out the others Dostamper stars for more ideas on this challenge. Be well

Miriam

DSC 84 - Daydream Medallions

DSC#084 (1)

Do you ever daydream? Well, I do and I do it a lot. It is a soothing feeling that can take me places, and to "visit" people that I have not seen in a while. Today's Dostamper Stars challenge has nothing to do with daydreaming, except that I used the Daydream Medallions stamp set. I think this card can be used for an anniversary card, don't you?

Thank you for taking the time to visit today. I wish you a fantastic day and much to celebrate and daydream about!

Happy Stamping!

Miriam Castanho Bollinger

Tips & Tricks:
  • When doing a double border in a cardstock, I make sure to center the paper rather than starting on one of its side. This way I will have mirror image on both edges.
  • The bow was made using My Bow Maker, which ensures a perfect bow every time!

MM 342 - Lots of Thanks

Hi everyone,

Another beautiful sketch from Mojo Monday was posted and as usual I was not able to resist. I decided to use the Lots of Thanks stamp set as this is one of mine that is not retiring! However, I used the Scalloped Border Trim punch to showcase its beauty and am I sad to see it retire. This is one punch that I have used time and again and have love it every and each time.  Do you see the little bow? That was easily done using my Bow Maker. You can get yours for free!

Thank you for visiting my space today. Look forward for your next visit.

Happy Stamping!

Greetings!

PPA193

I have been missing and craving some warm weather,  and therefore my cards are now getting hints of spring, summer, and anything that causes me to feel warm. Dynamic Duos #85 & Retro Sketch #96 - Backyard Basics

New Years greetings,

The year is in full swing and I am ready for it! It is so nice to get holidays behind and get a fresh start and with that a chance to try new things. Today I am entering the Dynamic Duo challenge #85 and to go with that I am pairing it with Retro Sketch challenge # 96. The color combo speaks loud to my heart. Green and Yellow are the official color of Brazil, my country of origin and just so happens that I live in Wisconsin and the colors for the football team is also Green and Yellow. How could I pass on this challenge? I used the Backyard Basics stamp set stamped in watercolor paper and hand painted. I cut the image using the Backyard Basic framelit collection. The butterflies were cut using the Beautiful Wings Embossilts. What do you think? Please do share some love.

Happy Stamping!
