Lovely Sympathy.

Hello Dear Friends and Readers,

This has been a busy month as the children prepare for the Violin Festival Concert. Lots of practice, group lessons, rehearsals, and lovely music. Despite all the work, I do love it tremendously. I am finding some time to craft, not as much, but every little bit is enjoyed.

I like sketch challenge as I find elements to compose the card to the sketch. Dostamper Stars 271 was worked on today and I love the card resulting from the challenge.

Honestly, I love this card. The elements went well together. The Whole Lot of Lovely DSP set the tone to keep it clean, elegant, simple, and just, well, lovely.  I used the sentiment from the Rose Wonder stamp set, the foliage is from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits, and the flower cluster is from the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp set. The texture on the sides is from the Filigree TIEF long retired. I love that folder and I use it as much as possible. It just gives such a nice detail. Stitched Shapes and Layering circles framelit were used for the sentiment. The flower cluster are adorned with the Black Rhinestones, which I love. I wish every color of Rhinestone. They are so beautiful.

Thank you for you visit today. Please visit again. Be well

Miriam

Amazing Brusho

Dear Friends and Readers,

After having the temperatures going crazy on us, we had two days of rain, plain rain, and the fear now that once the temperature drops a whole new problem can develop. I just hope that Springs get here soon and move this nasty weather away.

I am enjoying some time spend in my craft corner and making some pretty cards using Sale-A-Bration items as well as Occasion Catalog items. Fun times!

I have played a lot with the Amazing You stamp set and I love it more each time. Of course it makes the set that much more attractive since I got it free with my $50 purchase. And so can you. I want the flowers to be colored and I got it colored using the new Brusho Crystal Color. I love how it works and how easy it is to create backgrounds and to color with it. For this card, I first stamped the images in the Whisper White layer then I proceed to hand cut around ti to make a bit more rustic. Using the Basic Black marker I outlined the edges for a little of depth. Very small black Rhinestones were scattered around for added interest. On the side I placed a ribbon and Linen Thread to continue with the rustic elements of the card. I love the final result. I think I will need to make a few more of these.

Thank you for your visit today. Make sure to stop by again. Be well

Lovely Day

Dear Friends and Readers,

Are you enjoying the Olympics Games? I love watching some of the competitions; I know I can really not relate to the whole winter sports, but some of the sports are beautiful to watch.

While watching the games, I have thoughts and wishes for Spring to come and settle in so we can start gardening, enjoying fresh air throughout the house, smell of fresh cut grass, flowers, and the beauty of it all. Until then, we craft our dreams.

Yes, crafting gives me the opportunity to create the dreams I have of a warmer season. The Dostamper Stars 269 inspiration gave thoughts of colors and since I have gone a bit crazy with baking lately, I chose to stay away from cakes! With the exception of the splatters - from Timeless Textures -  the images and sentiments are all from the Lovely Wishes stamp set. When I saw the set I knew I could not pass on this one. I love the soft images and how light and free flowing it feels. You may not be able to see but I placed several rhinestones all over it, the smallest size, and I like how it adds to the card without overcoming the images. A simple and quick to make card with a minimal amount of supplies. Sure to please!

Thank you for your visit today. Come back again. Be well

Bright.

Dear Friends & Readers,

We got another punch of cold and snow. The sun has been shining, it is cold, but with the fresh snow on the ground it is bright and beautiful. Not my favorite season, but beauty cannot be denied.

I worked on today's card for the DoStamper Stars and I love the brightness of the colors. Make me think of the Spring that will come soon in all its glory and beauty.

dsc, all occasions card, hello friend stamp set, sunshine wishes thinlits, big shot,

Does this card make you think of Spring? I debated over sentiment but the "hello" won me over as if it is just a greeting soon to be here. This card is a mix of supplies. Sometimes I like using just one stamp set so I can stretch the possibilities. This time I used the Hello friends stamp set for image and sentiment, for the flower I used the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. The "leaf" I just cut from the flower itself and have the leaf. The flower is easily built by cutting 2 flowers and overlapping them together. I love the looks and how easy it was to put together. Give it a try, I promise you will like it.

Thank you for your visit today. I am always happy when you visit. Have a wonderful day. Be well
