How do we arrive at the wish to make a Sympathy card? Well, for me it is impossible not to feel some sympathy and sadness when any life is lost and particularly now with the earth quake in Nepal when so many lives were taken. I hope the survivors find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Inspirations for today's card - layout and color that is - are from the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 266 and the colors are from the Splitcoast Stampers Color challenge 528. Some of the materials used are soon going to retire and others are already retired. The Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Window Framelits Collection, Painted Petals, and Love & Sympathy stamp set are all going to retire as of June 2nd. If you like them, this may be your final chance to get them. The background paper is a retired DSP.
