Peace and serenity.

Hello my lovely readers,

Despite me being quiet the past few days, I guarantee to you that I was rather busy. I was at a local craft show on Sunday but last week, Saturday, and yesterday I have been helping my husband finish up putting a piece of dry wall and lights in our basement. A pipe was leaking and we did not know until it made a bubble in the ceiling. It got all fixed up and I have couple more light in what used to be a dark corner.

I have been also working on some commissioned work and today I want to share a card that I prepared for a lovely young lady whom play the violin at the same academy as my children.

She is a very earthy girl, whom loves the beauty of nature. Considering this, I could not do anything other than a scenery. This scenery has 3 stamps from different sets. The Moon lake stamp set provided me with the boat and the goose, but it was not enough and I need a bit more, and the Lovely as a Tree stamp set gave me just the final touch to my landscape. I sponged the land area with Old Olive and i apply a very small and gentle amount of Lost Lagoon to the lake. Everything else was colored used the Blender Pen, which I love for all my coloring application. The stripes are from the  retired Color Me Autumn DSP, but it was perfect considering the abstract and color, which contrasted nicely with the Basic Black. In all, I am rather pleased with the results and have a sense of peace and calm just by looking at this lovely scenery.... made specially for a lovely young lady.

Thank you for visiting today. Be well.
