Fusion 7 - Serene Silhouettes

Greetings,


Spring is here and we are truly thankful for that. Has the Spring for you too? Today I took some time to work on my craft corner. I really needed that time as the last two weeks have been hard due to illness. The Fusion challenge has a clean look that spoke to me. I went with the Serene Silhouettes as this is one of those stamp sets that I can use no matter what. I decided not to use a sentiment as I saw this as a card versatile and I can use it for several occasions. What would you use this card for? Thank you for visiting today.

PPA 197 - Vintage Verses

Greetings,

PPA197 March 27

I am hoping that, wherever you are, the weather is better than in Wisconsin. It has been so cold and dreary here. To curb that, I go to my craft corner and delight myself with my wonderful Stampin' Up! toys. Do you do the same? Today's card is an entry for the Pals Paper Art challenge. I did use the Vintage Verses, a stamp set that is retired, but I like it so much that I decided that it was the perfect complement to the sketch. The image was heat embossed using Gold powder and then cut using the Window Frame collection. Did you like it? I hope to hear your thoughts and any question you may have. Mojo Monday 338 - My Mother

Greetings,


I am not sure how we came about the end of March already. Do you feel that the time is simply flying away before your eyes? I do. Nonetheless, we are enjoying that the winter is coming to a close and soon we hope to see flowers blooming and see a lively summer again. With that hope I entered this card today on the Mojo Monday challenge. I used the My Mother stamp set to celebrate all mothers who, after all, bring life forth. I added the butterflies using the Papillon Potpourri and the Bitty Butterfly punch. This card is to celebrate all mothers, life, and all the good that are in them.

SSSC 212 - Morning Meadow

Despite of a long, weary week, we had a Sunday worthy of celebration as our daughter had her Festival Concert. It was beautiful and we had a great time. I did have some time in the morning to check out some of my favorite challenge sites and loved the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I decided that I could spare a moment to put a card together for the challenge and I loved how the Morning Meadow stamp set gave me all the components to make this card. PPA 196 - Lots of Thanks

I am finally getting back to some sense of normalcy in our house as we are all recovering from some sort of cold or another. This allowed me to play some more and to prepare a quick card to enter the Pals Paper Arts. FMS 128 & CQC 233- Flower Shop

Greetings,


This has been a very long and busy week. I hardly had much time to play along with any of my favorite challenges, but finally last night I was able to prepare a card for the beautiful Freshly Made Sketch and get my Flower Shop stamp set some much needed use. The color scheme from the ColourQ challenge was perfect and fresh. I want to see some bloom in my garden, so I have been calling Spring in all the ways I can. The new Arrows TIEF add a touch to the card and complements the sketch. The background on the Whisper White is from the Creative Elements stamp set. Dostamper Stars Challenge 074 - Blessed Easter

This has been a hard week at the house as I have 3 out of 4 people sick. I was hoping to get some tutorials done for you, but unfortunately I was not able to. However, I was able to complete a card to enter the Dostamper Stars Challenge this week. I will need several Thank You cards so I decided to use the colors from the challenges to make a Thank you card.The tulips from the Blessed Easter stamp came handy as I am missing seeing the tulips as they have not even started picking from the frozen ground. Pals Paper Art 195 & Freshly Made Sketches 127 - Chalk Talk

I am happy to say that we are finally catching a break on our weather and Spring appears to be just around the corner. We are enjoying beautiful days, now we just need it to warm up. The colourful bright sunny days is a reflection of the Pals Paper Art color combo challenge. I decided to combine that with the simple and elegant Freshly Made Sketches challenge to prepare a Thank you card using the Chalk Talk stamp set and framelit. The Pleasant Poppies stamp was added just to one side of the background layer. I masked the edges of the part I did not want inked, removed the tape and stamped the inked part into the Wild Wasabi background for a subtle effect. Dostamper Stars 073 - Lovely as a tree

It is Thursday , so it is Dostamper Stars challenge! I love these challenges as each week we have the opportunity to experiment our creativity with color, sketch, or inspiration. For this week's sketch challenge I picked up my oh so loved Lovely as a tree stamp set which was heat embossed to showcase it beauty.
