A rich love.

On today's Dostamper Stars challenge 109 I did not want to make a Christmas card. I like the colors and after a few minutes figure this color combo would yield a beautiful wedding or anniversary card. I put this card together in no time and I truly like how it is so simple, elegant, and rich. The Letterpress Winter Photopolymer stamp set works beautifully with the Filigree Frame TIEF and I love how the Filigree is so versatile. This one is a keeper.  Love it!

Thankful for Fall and colors.

Temperatures have fallen drastically in Wisconsin and we are now under a cold spell from Canada that have come fast and fierce. It is hard to believe that it is not even Thanksgiving and we are already below freezing. Oh well.

Nothing we can do about the weather, but we can use it as a great excuse to spend more time crafting. I know I do and I hope you do too. I made this card today for two challenges: Dostamper Stars challenge 107, and Freshly Made Sketch challenge 162. It was easy to go with a thank you card using the colors, and the layout was simple and elegant. I used the sentiment from Letterpress Winter stamp set and the image from the World of Dreams. There is one thing I like about this time of the year and that is the colors. Of course, I pulled out My Bow Maker to add that special touch of perfection! Hope you enjoy this card and will come back for more!

You are wonderful!

And because we are all wonderful, I made this card thinking on all of you, the wonderful you that supports me, that gives me reason to prepare beautiful projects, and to post for your appreciation.

A color challenge? No problem, they are far from cause me fear anymore. I enjoy them and truly cherish the opportunity to combine colors. Today's challenge is from Dostamper Stars Challenge 099.

Tips & Tricks:
  • To get the Letterpress Winter photopolymer stamp centered on the Very Vanilla layer, I cut the paper the same size as the acrylic block and centered the stamp on the block. To stamp, I made sure that the block was in line with the perimeter of the paper. 
  • The Thoughts of you stamps set gave me the sentiment. However, I stamped the Wonderful first, cleaned the stamp, then inked and stamped the "you" part of the sentiment.

Another sneak peek - Thank you.

It is always great to see what the wonderful world of creative people are doing with the new products. With today's release of the Holiday catalog I am sure you will find plenty to love and I know ideas will just pop everywhere.  Using the color combo from Dostamper Stars challenge 097 and a new stamp set from the Holiday catalog,  I created a Thank you card that it is sure to stand out.

Isn't the new Letterpress Winter stamp set a show stopper? I know this one will be used time and again as it is a practical and beautiful stamp set. And because it is Photopolymer, it is that much easier to position one image inside of the other. Score!

What do you see? A little glimpse of the Holiday Catalog!

I hope you did get inspired by last week's wedding theme. This week I will not work on a particular theme - although I loved it - but fret not, I may do that again in the future. However, I plan to feature some new products from the Holiday Catalog. The Letterpress Winter stamp set is a hit and I am sure I will be using it a lot.
To start the week I decided to use the sketch from the Pals Paper Arts challenge 216  and make an all occasion card.

The color pallet from the Confetti Celebration DSP is so pleasing to the eyes and not hard to put together. Perhaps combining colors is a daunting task for you. It is for me too at times. One thing that has helped me a lot along the way is to look at the DSP collections. They are ideal to give me combinations that I may not otherwise have tried.
