Color it pretty.

I am completely unable to keep up with time. The weeks are moving faster than I can keep up with and look, it is Thanksgiving already. Well, I have been busy with fundraiser for my children' violin school, with the garden that needs preparation for the winter, planting garlic, and expanding it a bit, and life in general. There is little time left for the fun things that I enjoy so.

I did run to my craft room and had time to play a bit. I see that, despite our beautiful days, the nights are much cooler and we will start getting cooler days. For that I want something more colorful and warm. The Botanical Gardens bundle is my choice today along with Wild Wasabi and Flirty Flamingo. I love how those two colors go together. The Early Espresso surely provided for a perfect background and to make the colors pop. I normally would give some texture to the background, but this time I like it plain.
Your visit is greatly appreciated. I look forward to seeing you again, and soon things will get back to normal. Be well

Miriam

Happy wishes to all.

Hello dear readers and friends. This has been a delightful week with the entire household enjoying good health and good weather. I hope the same is true at your home. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy all the daily blessing and feel the happiness all around us.

I have been busy at my craft corner getting some stuff done and also purging some retired supplies. I need to make room for the order that is due to arrive this week. I am super excited. For now, I am enjoying my supplies and made a card today for the Mojo Monday 451 using the Botanical Blooms stamp set and matching framelits. I love this set and I am super happy it carried over to the new catalog. The sentiment is from another favorite of mine, Butterfly Basics.  I have the sale-a-bration Botanical Gardens dsp Vellum stashed and against Crushed Curry it looks marvelous. I love the looks of the printed vellum on top of cardstock. The design comes out nicely and it is way more noticeable and lovely.

Thank you so much for visiting today. I hope you will take a moment to share some love. Be well

Miriam

Brights for the Bright.

I am looking forward for the flowers and plants to bring back the bright colors of the Spring, but I know it will take a bit longer still. In the meantime....

... I can put those bright colors in a beautiful Birthday Card and brighten someone's day. The Paper Players challenge 284 gave the sketch and I decided on the colors. Look at the Sweet Lil' Thing dsp in the background, a perfect base to start, don't you think? The new Botanical Blooms stamp set is one that I loved from the moment I saw it. And it bundles with the Botanical Builder Framelits AND  the Botanical Gardens DSP. I love all of it. I added a small layer of Pool Party, which I textured with the Elegant Dots TIEF. The sentiment is from the Party Pants stamp set, which is a new release for Sale-a-Bration. A touch of "bling" and the card is ready to be sent out to someone special.

Thank you for visiting today. I love to read your comments, so please drop a line. Be well
