Home, sweet and new.

The constant motion of life brings so many surprises that makes us stop for a moment. A very close and dear friend of mine is relocating in December, and while I am extremely happy for her and her family, as this is a wonderful opportunity for them, I am sad to see them go and will miss them all deeply.

I know I will be making some house warming cards, and got started with the inspiration from Dostamper Stars challenge 155. I decided to use the scenery as my inspiration and the Lovely as a Tree, Sheltering Tree, and Home for the Holidays stamp sets, along with the framelit made the scene. As much as I want to add a bit more embellishments, I decided against, so the images can speak for themselves. The background was sponged with Night of Navy because I did not want to use the card stock itself as I want to keep the sky a nice blue but not too dark.
