Oh yeah, must have that first.

Well, I have been on the Birthday Cards frenzy and then it dawn on me that to celebrate any birthday there first must be a baby. Why not a baby card then?

Miriam Castanho-Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demosntrator, mm, mm, baby card, sweet li'l things dsp, best year ever dsp, big shot, squares collection, circles framelit collection, 2-1/2" circle punch, best year ever accessory pack, sweetest gift, su

And that's precisely what I did with the Mojo Monday challenge 437. I used the Sweet Lil' Thing DSP for the background, and was not sure what to use for the square, and upon digging my piles I found the lovely Best Year Ever DSP and it is a perfect match. As for the image and sentiment I used the also retired Sweetest Gift stamp set. The ribbon was one of the freebies from last year Sale-a-Bration and since we are under Sale-A-Bration, why not use some of the past products.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and that it will inspire you to create something beautiful. Thank you for visiting. Be well

Miriam

Congrats, dude.

I am not sure about your location, but around Wisconsin we are enjoying some beautiful and warm weather. The windows are open and the breeze feels so wonderful. I walk at leisure just so I can enjoy a bit of this wonderful weather.

Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, dsc, masculine card, congratulations, schoolhouse dsp, traveler stamp set, something to say stamp set, big shot, squares collection, su

I have also enjoyed some time in my craft room, which is always a bonus. I continue with my birthday cards projects, but today decided on a masculine card with an open theme. The sketch is from Dostamper Stars challenge 154, but I changed it a bit. A congratulations card can be used for so many things, that I like that for masculine cards. The image is from the Traveler stamp set and the sentiment is from the Something to Say stamp set. Remember that all stamps sets are 15% until the 23rd of October. The background paper is from the Schoolhouse dsp and I went double duty on the ribbon using a Pacific Point and the Linen Thread on top. I love the looks of it and will repeat that. How did you like that? I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you will visit again.

Thank you for stopping by and remember you can always get more inspiration from all the Dostamper stars. Be well

Miriam

Another round.

Well, I am still working on birthday cards, but I also held a Christmas cards stamp-a-stack over the weekend at my home. I always have so much fun with the ladies and therefore I worked on some Christmas card too.

Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, mm, birthday card, pretty petals dsp, butterfly basics stamp set, big shot, circle collections framelit, squares collection, su

I am back on the cards making and hope to get few more done this week. Today's card is my interpretation of the Mojo Monday challenge 419 and I thought a colorful card would be fun considering that the colors here are starting to show, but we know what will follow. I used the Pretty Petals paper stack and the sentiment is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card and I hope you will come back again. Be well

Miriam

Let's do that again!

Let me thank you once again for such wonderful support and for your friendship. You are a fantastic group of readers and the messages you send me truly warms my heart.

Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, sc, thank you, fresh prints dsp, summer silhouettes, painted petals stamp set, big shot, finishing touches edgelits, squares collection, su

Then, please accept this card from me. I love making thank you cards... well, actually I love making cards in general. But thank you cards have such a wonderful meaning and a feeling of gratitude that grows a bit more every and each time I send one out. With the weather getting better and new blossoms blooming, the Summer Silhouettes stamp set appeared to be the only choice I had. A bit of Fresh Prints DSP that was stashed away, sentiment from the Painted Petals stamp set, Finishing Touches Edgelits and was all I need to complete this sketch from the Splicoast Stampers Sketch Challenge 543.
Once again, thank you for visiting today and please do come again. Be well.

Serene Good bye

It is time to say good bye to Sale-A-Bration 2015. The good thing is that it will come back again next year. Unfortunately not all good things come back.

Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, rs158, serene silhouettes, squares collection, in color dsp, tea lace paper doilies, su

The loss of loved ones is hard and the only comfort left are the memories of a life well lived. I started this card with an idea and then finished it with another and then decided that card is a Sympathy card. The sketch from the Retrosketches challenge 158 is a fun one and I will certainly use it again. I kept the materials to a minimum, and went for a plain simple look. I like the simplicity of the Serene Silhouettes stamp set and I am always pleased with the results. This time was no different.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will stop by again soon. Take care.

I think of you, butterfly.

Another week is coming to a close and it was a busy one. I found time, throughout the week to make some craft, I had time to do come cleaning and organizing, despite feeling not s great, so all in all it was a productive week. Very much so.

Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, mm389, something borrowed DSP, subtles DSP, butterfly basics bundle, big shot, squares collection, thinking of you, su

The Mojo Monday challenge 389 gave me immediate inspiration and this was a card that I put together as if it has been in my mind waiting to come alive. The Butterfly Basic stamp set was used for both the background and the very pretty butterfly. I am loving that stamp set and its matching framelits. I added a bit of ribbon and a perfect made bow, which you can also make this easily!

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will come back again soon. And remember to subscribe and to follow my blog!

You are in my mind.

We are always thinking of someone tenderly, as somewhere in the world there is always someone thinking of us tenderly as well.

Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, fms 171, sassy salutations, big shot, squares collection, lovely lace tief, su

That's why I like making Thinking of You cards. People came to our minds for various reason, but most of the time we have good thoughts about them.  This card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketch Challenge 171 and the color I got from the Color Challenge 515 from Splitcoast Stampers. I used the stamp set from last year's sale-a-bration, as it was hard to part with them. The sentiment is from the Sassy Salutations and by putting it in a square that I flipped onto the side, it got such a nice result that I popped it up with dimensional.  A bit of sponging on the side and the depth got even bigger. Got love sponging. So next time you are crafting, think of me, use some sponging, and change directions too.

A Job Well done! Cogratulations

What? Who? Well, I want to congratulate all the men out there that day in and day out are doing a fantastic job in raising a family, being an ideal example to their children, and making the world around us a better place.

Mojo MOnday 358, Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stmapin up, demonstrator, masculine card, lovely as a tree, delightful dozen, little pieces embosslits, squares collection, su

It is not Monday, but it is not too late to enter the Mojo Monday Challenge 358. I went for a masculine card as I appear to never have them at hand. A congratulations card was in order as my husband is always helping me out and being so supportive I figure he deserved a card!
The DSP is from last year Sweater Weather. I still have a few pieces left and I like this paper a lot as it is easy to put a masculine card together in no time.

The Lovely As A Tree stamp set is beautiful and a classic. The sentiment is from the retired Delightful Dozen.

DSC 082 - Envelope Punch Board Match box

Greetings,

 DSC#082

This has been a emotional week for me and for some close friends. However, I feel blessed that I was able to be of some help during difficult times. I ended up finding some comfort in my craft room. I prepared a project for the Dostamper Stars challenge that is not a card. Instead I used the Envelope Punch Board to make a match box.  I added a sentiment from Bring on the cake stamp set, which will not be available comes June 2nd. A tutorial to make the match box will be available for you on Saturday. Please come back to check it out.

Thank you for visiting today and have a wonderful day.

Happy Stamping!

Miriam Castanho Bollinger

A view of  the pull out drawer.

 Tips & Tricks:
  • The "drawer" is assembled without the use of adhesive. Watch my tutorial video on Saturday to see how it was done.
  • The window cut out is done using the Square collection and Big Shot after the embellishments / decor is done. This way the layers are cut evenly and a clean look is accomplished.
