Oh yeah, must have that first.


Well, I have been on the Birthday Cards frenzy and then it dawn on me that to celebrate any birthday there first must be a baby. Why not a baby card then?

And that's precisely what I did with the Mojo Monday challenge 437. I used the Sweet Lil' Thing DSP for the background, and was not sure what to use for the square, and upon digging my piles I found the lovely Best Year Ever DSP and it is a perfect match. As for the image and sentiment I used the also retired Sweetest Gift stamp set. The ribbon was one of the freebies from last year Sale-a-Bration and since we are under Sale-A-Bration, why not use some of the past products.

Look who has arrived!


I have several friends that just recently became pregnant and it seems like a surge around here. I guess one can blame in the cold weather!

Of course there will be need for baby cards, and using the Color Challenge 518 from Splitcoast Stampers, I made a baby card to keep on my stash for s near future use. I did not add any Crisp Cantaloupe to this card, but it can easily be made in a baby girl card by switching the baker's twine and the sheet of the Lullaby DSP. The stamp is the now retired Sweetest Gift, which I am happy to put into use and by using the Labels Collection Framelits it sure made the image pop. I like it!

Pals Paper Art 189 - Sweetest Gift

Greetings!
I just learned that one of the children that plays the violin with my daughter just got a little baby brother. The baby arrived about 6 weeks earlier but everyone is doing well and are at home. I want to send them a card, but none could be found in my craft room. I looked up what was going on in the world of the paper challenges and found the right sketch for this card at the Pals Paper Art. I proceed to use the Sweetest Gift stamp set along with the Window Frame Collection and the much needed card was born - no pun intended! Anyway, enjoy and share your thought with me!
