Flowers for you!

CCMC367

Wow, this week was so busy and the weekend was extremely busy but fantastically beautiful. Me and 2 other friends held a baby shower for a dear friend on Saturday and we had such a wonderful time that it was well worth the work we put into it over the past week. I held my monthly club on Friday and today I have a birthday stamp-a-stack class. As you can see I hardly had time for much. My husband was in full duty with the children and I am thankful that he is supportive.

Considering that I was making the projects and getting ready with the set up and all, I could not help myself and took a little bit of time to make one project. I did not have too much time, so I used the CCMC 367 as my base; for the stripes part of the project I decided on different widths of ribbon, which I really liked it as the ribbons gave more than width; they gave texture and great visual interest to the project. Since the Flower Pot dsp is so pretty and happy I chose that for the background and a touch from the Flower Patch completed the looks.
