We knew these beautiful colors were going to wave good bye, but it is hard to see them go as they are such a pretty bunch. I have stocked up and plan on continue to use them for some time.

Every year when the Retiring list comes out, I revisit some old favorites. This time I picked up the Delightful Dozen for the sentiment and the Scalloped Dotted Border punch. Those are favorites of mine and I am having a hard time parting with them. Another one taking leave is the I Like You hostess set, but look at that potential! For a bit of texture, how about the lovely Spring Flowers TIEF? A mother deserves all that and much more. Spring that is. I was hoping that when we got the last heat wave, we would just enjoy a balm farewell from winter... But not, it was not yet done with us. I feel for the East Coast and all its winter storm this year. I hope all of you in the East Coast are doing well.

Yeah, I am truly thinking and calling Spring, but I know it will be a while before it arrives. I can dream, nonetheless. Polka dot madness!

I am going on a strike! Yes, against the weather. It is not even December and our thermometer is not looking good at all. This morning it read -14C, which is about 10F. We have some snow on the ground, and the wind is too fierce. I have not left my house since Wednesday last week!

But, that does not stop me from crafting and meeting up with friends. I have a busy week with club and my last Holiday stamp-a-stack class. I held three this year and had a blast each time. Hence me not posting anything over the weekend. Today I went back to my craft room and saw the Mojo Monday challenge 372 and also the Pals Paper Arts challenge 227. That was all the ingredients I need to kill my craving for a fun card. I chose to have mostly DSP used for this one and the Flower Pot and Sweet Taffy DSP had the colors I need and they all had polka dots. The sentiment is from I Like You hostess stamp set and the flower is from the medium size stamp from the Flowering Flourishes set. I like the turn out and so did my daughter! I hope you will too.

Indeed, I reached 300 posts and I am really happy that I started this journey into blog posting. You all have been wonderfully supportive and your comments and messages truly enhance my day.

The sketch is from Retro Sketch Challenge 140. The beautiful I Like You hostess stamp set was the image of choice as I want to do some coloring. The sentiment is from Something to Say stamp set, another favorite.
