Hello my dear friends and readers. This past week was a delight, a bit busy, but a delight. I got to spend time with some customers, held a Stamp-a-stack on Sunday and had a fabulous and super fun time. A super relaxed Sunday filled with fun, laughter and friends.

And Monday rolled in and the MM491 was calling my name. Well, I had a bit of free time and took advantage of it to get some craft going. I got some of my Flowerpot DSP (retired) and went on creating this card. I like the colors and how it turned out. The flower theme seems in order as I am hoping to start seeing them pop up here and there. I used the Flower Shop stamp set, Petite Flowers stamp set and punches, as well as the Thoughtful Branches for the sentiment. I know many people that deserves this card, so I may just as well get busy making few more and send them out. Brighten someone's day and send them a handmade card!

Life with you.

Well, this week I am solo as my husband is out of town. It is ok for most part as I try to have a good schedule and routine in place, but little things pop up and then the routine goes a bit crazy. Nonetheless we are all having a good time.

I have been working on some commissioned work and also on some cards for fun and for DoStamper Stars 220. Color challenge. They do challenge me. Anyway, I like the pastels and loved my card. I went with the Detailed Floral Thinlits for the gentle background and the Flourish Thinlits for a bit of Soft Sky details. The flowers are from the Petite Petals, which served as a good adornment to the sentiment center piece. I used the Layering Circles framelits to frame the sentiment. This card is a keeper. But I know that I have plenty people to whom I can share this card with.

Birhtday Happy.

Perhaps Spring will now makes its final debut and this time will stay with us. I am so ready to really spend time outdoors without having a jacket or a hat on.

Perhaps some flowers will help? Ok, then let's do it. I prepared today's card for the Mojo Monday 446 and I must say that I love this sketch. I may prepare other cards using the same sketch. Anyway, for this one I used the Birthday Blossoms for the images, which I had to fussy cut - the leaves - and I also used the Petite Petals. The sentiment is from Number of Years stamp set. I used the Brick Wall TIEF to add texture to my panel and I loved the idea of stamping the sentiment on the wall. The bottom panel was cut with the Edgelits and add just a tad elegant detail to this classic looking card.

Gratitude

Most of the time I forget how blessed I am and how much I receive on a daily basis. The simple fact that I can stay home, raise my children, and homeschool them is a blessing beyond measures. The fact that we walked from our accident on Memorial day weekend is another blessing that we have been contemplating every day.

Having all of you, my readers, give me your support and kind words is a blessing in itself. I thank each and every one of you whom reached out to check on me and send me your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. This card today is for all of you. I liked the subtle colors of the Dostamper Stars challenge 135 and since a thank you was in order I chose to make it so. The beautiful Something Borrowed DSP paired well with the Soft Sky color on the Petite Petals stamp set and the Lots of Thanks stamp set. The latter will be deeply missed as it is now retired. Like me, I hope everyone out there can receive as many or more blessing on a daily basis and be grateful for every single one.  Thank you. Be well

Please, not again.

Well, the weather took a rather nice turn and brought us sunshine and above freezing temperatures all week long. All snow has melted and I even took the time to do some basic maintenance to my garden. I sure hope the temperatures remain so, and the sun continues to shine bright.

However, I started feeling a bit ill again. Last time I felt this way I ended up with a nasty sinus infection along with a cough that lasted two months. I am taking this serious now and using some essentials oils and vitamins and resting. So, I did prepare this card two days ago, but honestly was busy with club night and did have much energy for anything else. Since when I made I was already feeling like something was coming up, I decided on a Get Well card. The sketch is from the Freshly Made Sketch challenge 177, and the color combination is from the Pals Paper Arts challenge 243. I went for a simple look with a small Petite Petals stamp set and punch. The Finishing Touches Edgelits is ever so delicate that deserved a place on this card. I feel better just by looking at it.

Another week has gone by and I feel like I hardly got everything done. However, it has been a fun busy and seeing the children so happy it pays all off. Of course having a visit from Spring weather was just the perfect icing on the cake.

Based on the Dostamper Stars challenge 123, I created today's card being careful not to overuse the rich colors. I like all the colors in this challenge, but it can be tricky for me to put them together, so I went the safe route and made good use of Whisper White cardstock. The Petite Petals stamp set has the ideal size to embellish the Gorgeous Grunge background.  I stamped the Gorgeous Grunge in both Hello Honey and Rich Razzleberry, and the flowers in Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey. The sentiment from And Many More was stamped in Rich Razzleberry. I like the subtle look of these rich colors. Do you?

This cake looks delicious or what? I am sure whomever was the lucky person to have such a cake the happiness was shared by all.

With such a sweet looking cake, only a sweet card is needed to thank those that participate in the event where the cake was eaten. Of course, I would not miss the opportunity to enter a card at this DoStamper Stars Challenge 122. The background from Back to Black DSP was all I needed to get embellishing the card. I got the Petite Petals, as the DSP asked me for flowers, and the sentiment from Something to Say was the right size, and the perfect little bow to finish it off. Do you like the bow?
