I truly love the looks and colors of Marigolds, however, the funny thing about the name Marigold today is another. My daughter just had her birthday and we got her an American Doll, which she named it Carrie. My 4yo boy has a hard time saying American Doll so it sounds like Marigold. It is too cute! My daughter does not appreciate it much, but she is a good sport.
So, to celebrate Fall and the "Marigold" doll, I joined The Paper Players challenge 212 and made a pot of the Marigold flowers. The Boho Blossom punch was all I needed to make the flowers. I also added the Color me Autumn DSP to the base of the "pot".
Tips and Tricks:
- The card is a pull out card. I kept the base a bit wider, as I want the pull out to be bigger.
- When making a pull out card, one must pay attention to the final dimension of it, otherwise it will not fit in a standard envelope.
