In my mind.

Have you noticed how some people, despite the distance come on to our mind, just like a calling? I have moments when it is as if all around stopped for a moment while a far distant memory makes its presence felt. I love those moments.

Miriam Castanho Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, dsc, thinking of you, back to black dsp, english garden dsp, peaceful petals, big shot, deco labels collections, bold butterfly framelits, su

On those lines I made a card for those people whom we are often thinking about. I use the sketch from Dostamper Stars challenge 166 and combined that with the Back to Black dsp, a bit of Hello Honey for the background and for the lovely butterfly, a bit of chevron ribbon, and the sentiment from the Peaceful Petals stamp set. I like the simplicity of the card mostly because memories are simple things that are enriching beyond believe. Despite its simplicity.

Thank you for visiting today. More inspiration from this challenge can be found in the others fine Dostamper Stars. Be well

Miriam

You are in my thoughts... and to do list.

PPA-282-Jan07

I am trying to keep my days at a good pace, however, it seems to be going a bit faster than me. I had a busy weekend and am trying to keep up with my e-mails and messages. Sorry if I did not get back to you. But...

Miriam Castanho-Bollinger, #mstampinwithyou, stampin up, demonstrator, ppa, get well, sympathy card, pretty petals dsp, peaceful petals, world of dreams, 1-3/4" circle punch, big shot, circles framelit collection, su

... I am thinking of you and prepared this card to show you so. The sketch for today's card is from the Pals Paper Arts challenge 282. The dsp today is from the Pretty Petals dsp stack. I love those two pattern together. Considering that the sketch was simple, I kept the card so too. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Petals and the image is from the World of Dreams stamp set, which I stmapde just on teh edges. I love the final result.

Despite of my tardiness in getting back to everyone, I am here and will get back on track soon. I truly appreciate your support, your questions, and your patience too. Thank you for visiting today. Be well

Miriam

MM346, CQC 242 - Peaceful Petals

The beautiful colors of spring and summer are upon us. I love seeing the life flourish once again and bring hues of all colors along with birds, smells, flavors, and warmth. This week I combined the ColourQ with Mojo Monday to come up with this card. The colors are sharp and bright, and the sketch simple and sufficient. The Peaceful Petals stamp set was dressed with blossoms. After all, this is the season for bright and bold.

Thank you for visiting today. Your comments are deeply appreciated and everyone of them is read. Take a moment and leave a word.

Happy Stamping!

Simple Stems & Scalloped Tag Punch

February 3rd, 2014

Greetings!

I had the honor to be invited to a gueststar of Dawn Olchefske for the month of February. I am still at awe for receiving such an invitation. Today's project is the first one I am sharing and there will be 3 more to follow. Whenever a new catalog comes out it is always hard to decide what to get first, as I love everything. The Simple Stems, Scalloped Tag Punch, and Peaceful Petals are all items from the new Occasions Catalog that are now available for you to purchase. I love punches that can be used in a different way and the Scalloped Tag Punch gave me the chance to try it in a bit of unusual way. The video tutorial is below and you will see how easy it was to put this card together. Stop by my store, grab your punch and give it a try. You will love it.

Happy Stamping!

January 31, 2014

Greetings,

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrms3JFvrP2dAxxBSjUzdXqtKiupwDLOg5UuyztOA_abzTPr7IWUNgMXdfk68SQ5QZRlJpJfKIT6U-LT7F3UoXVz3hZ311Ikhr-1WiLeDR-0guMG-qGqMKnWs7Y1GCJfOu-6nbNhl4eGCl/s1600/Mojo330.gif

I cannot see how we are already at the end of January. Perhaps because it is so cold and I do not get out much I do not see the time go by this fast. Anyway, it has been a great month. With the release of the new Occasion Catalog and the beginning of Sale-A-Bration I have had lots of new products to try out. Today, however I decide to go products from the current annual catalog. Mojo Monday and ColourQ challenges were combined to give a highlight to the Stippled Blossoms stamp set, along with sentiment from Delightful Dozen and a bit details from the Peaceful Petals. Do you like it? Will you share some love? Thanks for visiting today and please stop by again soon for more!

Happy Stamping!

Dynamic Duos 86, Retrosketch 98 - Peaceful Petals

January 21, 2014

Greetings!

Baby it is still cold outside, but inside it is truly delightful! Even better when I get to stamp and enjoy my time in my favorite corner of the house. I headed downstairs to my craft corner and got few more cards going. I love to combine challenges and this one showcase both a color combo from Dynamic Duos and a sketch from Retro Sketch. I then used a stamp set from the new Occasions Catalog called Peaceful Petals and the paper that soon can be in your hands too from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, Sweet Sorbet. I like the calm of the color combination and the greeting too. I hope you will enjoy and do know that I am always thinking of you.

Happy Stamping!

Miriam Castanho Bollinger

I used one of the framelits that are part of the Thinlits Circle collection to create the sentiment. I cut one in Pink Pirouette and another in Basic Black. I split the Basic Black one and offset it behind the Pink Pirouette paper. A quick, simple, and elegant detail!

Ingredients:

Paper: Naturals White cardstock, Basic Black cardstock, Pink Pirouette cardstock, Sweet Sorbet DSP*, Subtle Collection DSP Stack (ret.)

Ink: Versamark

Stamp: Peaceful Petals

Accessories: Heat Tool, Black Embossing Powder, Itty Bity Punch Pack, Thinlits Circle die, Big Shot, Dazzling Details.

*Available Jan. 28 - March 31 as part of the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Promotion.  Earn 1 FREE product for every $50 spent (total before shipping and tax).
