RS 120 - Flowering Flourishes



I was visiting a State Park in Illinois and the sites at this time of the year are beautiful. The greens and all the colors make to an spectacular show of colors, textures, and smells. The Retro Sketch challenge for this week presented many layers, and it made me think of nature. I worked with Always Artichoke and also Cajun Craze for the colors, and for my stamps, I chose Flowering Flourishes and Corner Garden.


Tips and Tricks:

  • The Corner Garden was stamped couple of times on the Very Vanilla base to get most of it stamped. I used the Cajun Craze on that layer
  • I like to stamp the Flowering Flourishes offset most of the times, but today I stamped it once to get just the beauty of it to show. The center of the little flowers were embellished with Candy Dots. Love them!
