TST 173 - Embellished Events



I know, I know, I am late, but life got on the way and I was not able to stamp on Tuesday and on most days of last week. Wedding cards are one of those that appear to follow a particular set of colors, and since I like to step out of the comfort zone I used non-traditional colors on today's card for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge. The traditional part of my card is the bells from the Embellished Events stamp set.


Tips and Tricks:
  • I turned the sketch around to make a taller card, as I thought with this would better for the center piece I choose to use.
  • The Chocolate Chip layer behind the sentiment was embossed using to continue the strips from the dsp layer.
  • The bells were stamped using Lost Lagoon and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder.
  • The beautiful bow was made using My Bow Maker. I love how soft and easy to work with is this ribbon!

US 257 - Summer Silhouettes

It's here! It's here! We are finally feeling that the Spring and a hint of summer is upon us, and despite the pollen count, I am happy to enjoy the warmth of the sun, to see the beautiful tones of green, to see colors all around and in many unique shapes of flowers. How can I make any paper project without getting inspired by the weather? Summer Silhouettes stamp set it is! Unscripted Sketches gave me the layout and the results are here for you to see. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks:
    •  Before I cut any angled pieces, I make sure to measure a whole piece and create a small pattern of the angled cut I wish for. If layering, I apply the bottom layer to the already cut top layer, then I cut the bottom layer.

    PPA 201 - Embellished Events

    Greetings,

    Wow, how can I pass a sketch challenge from Pals Paper Arts? Well, I cannot! That's what I prepared to share with you today. The sketch itself is great and I decide to keep it with a simple color combo and honestly I would love to receive such a card myself. The Embellished Events stamp set was all I needed to stamp on this card. I fussy cut the cake as I want it to pop up a bit.  Did you like it? Will you spend a minute to share your thoughts?
