At the time of this writing, in WI we had experienced some Spring weather, a snow storm, followed by a temperature climb to 60F. It is hard on the body to have so much temperature variations, and we have seen a lot of people getting sick.
Hence my Get Well card. We have seem our children get really sick this past month, and we have seem many friends get sick too. I hear of some getting a cold/flu to last 3 weeks. Not fun. For those near by we may bring a meal or help whichever way needed, but for those far apart we can only offer a prayer to them. My card came together based on the sketch from Pals Paper Arts 294. I do like making get well card that has punch of colors and therefore I went for some bold colors. I used the Schoolhouse DSP for part of the background atop the Basic Gray. The Delicate Doilies framelit gave a beautiful and happy background for the sentiment, which is from Rose Wonder stamp set, cut from Deco Labels. The Pacific Point ribbon - love it - added the last bit of punch of color. This card is sure to bring a bit of sunshine for anyone under the weather.
Thank you for your visit today. I pray that you and yours are all doing well.
Miriam
