Hello my dear readers. I have a very busy week so far and it is not over yet. Lots of things going on, but also lots of things to celebrate. One of them came from my daughter as she received notification that she has earned a full scholarship to attend the Stevens Point Summer Institute for violin. We are super excited and can hardly wait.
As I made this card, we did not know of the scholarship yet, but I know that every little time spend with my children are very important and meaningful. When we go to the institute it will be only the two of us. Super fun girls time. This card was inspired by the color combo from the Dostamper Stars 176 and the colors are beautiful. All the images and sentiment are from the Watercolor Wings stamp set and aren't they divine?I love to have the framelits to cut the image and have it perfectly and peacefully placed at the card in a 3D effect. I made a bit of a frame on the Early Espresso using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and I like the effect it had on the final card.
Thank you for visiting today. Enjoy your time here and visit all other Dostamper Stars for more inspiration. Be well

Just lovely - I could even see framing this card in a little shadow box frame to allow those wings to stay fluffed out! Very, very pretty! TFS!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors for the butterfly! I love how the die cut stands out so the butterfly could really fly!
