The relatively mild winter appears to be done with, and now Spring is making itself present with lots of rain. We had a coupe of days of nothing but rain. Some areas we can see accumulation of water and there are more rain coming our way. We got my rain barrels set up to start filling them up for the garden season. I am excited about it all.
I know that not everyone likes the rain. but, oh all the green and birds it bring forth is wonderful. Then the sun shines and everything take a enormous growth. You see, I could not help but again pull out colors as a way to greet our Spring. DoStamper Star 225 makes it all that much easier. I did not want an Easter themed card, so instead I went for the colors. I used a sponge to prepare the Crumb Cake layer. I did not sponge to heavily and I prefer the looks of that. Swirly Scribbles are cut in both Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight, while the leaves from Flourish thinlits are cut in Garden Green. I did not use any stamp, but debated about it for a bit. I like it just as it is and it is handy to have cards without sentiment readily available. I sure use them often.
Thank you for visiting today. Hope your day is bright, colorful, and musical. Be well
Miriam
