I think the busy weeks are over now and I can start enjoying some more relaxed days and also a bit more crafting. I have been missing my lovely craft room, but I got to spend some time in it over the weekend. A bit working re-organizing it and also a bit playing with new and old supplies. I am glad to be back.
Summer time brings lots of weddings. I, for one, got married on the Summer Solstice some 19 years ago. I have seen several friends get married this month alone, some nearby, some far away. It is wonderful to see people start a new journey together. This week, let's celebrate marriage, with cards of course. Today's card is inspired in the PPA 306 and I call this a wedding card. Why? Well, I do not believe we have to always have the same idea. People are different, so should be cards for all occasions. I started with retired Park Lane dsp, heat embossed it in Early Espresso with the Falling Flowers and added die cut image from the new Flourish Thinlits. Oh, and fear not, with the Die Brush, those little pieces come out with s snap. The sentiment I got from And Many More stamp set, and I love to have that set hand despite it being retired. The pearls bring it all together with a touch of elegance.
Thank you for your visit today. I look forward to hearing from you. Be well
Miriam

I love how you used the flourishes! The die cut flowers were the perfect elements to use with them. Gorgeous wedding card. Thanks for sharing it at the PPA this week!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, Miriam! I love your take on the sketch, and how the flourish connects the three elements! The pearls make the perfect, elegant centers. Thanks for playing with the Sketch Team at Pals Paper Arts this week!
