Lovely Bouquet



How can anyone go wrong with flowers? Well, I do not think that such a think is possible. Flowers are colorful, have delicious scent, and always brightens the day.

Flowers! This card is for all my FlowerPower community members. You all rock and are special to me. The sketch is from RetroSketch challenge 133 and the Gold Soiree Specialty DSP is absolutely perfect to complete the sketch. A simple card that will brighten a special someone's day.

A very happy birthday!


 

Growing up, it was said that we do not celebrate birthday ahead of the actual date and we cannot go by without having at least a cake. I liked that idea and to this day have not shaken that out.

As with any birthday cake, a card is always in order. I enjoy receiving birthday cards, as they truly demonstrate the thought that someone had about you.  How about this sketch from Mojo Monday challenge 364 for a birthday card? Well, I thought of it ideal. The World of Dreams stamp set and the Bitty Butterfly completed the card beautifully and if there are flowers, let there be butterfly!

With the inspiration from the Pals Paper Arts challenge 220 and The Paper Players challenge 214, making this masculine card was a breeze. I kept the colors more neutral and also mute. An all occasion card for the gentleman in your life.

Feel the embrace.


 

The embrace of calm, serene, and simple elegance.  To combine several elements, texture, and colors, can be trick, but when done well it can have an effect that it is almost as if the card embraces you!

Using the Serene Silhouettes stamp set on this Try Stampin on Tuesday challenge 185, this card filled me with peace and calm. When I started pulling the colors based on the Flower Pot DSP, I did not envision this calming outcome.
