Beautiful Bouquet

Hello dear friends and readers,

I am finally enjoying some fantastic weather and I can see life all around. Of course, there are some bounds of allergies going on at my house, but I am able to enjoy the warmth, the sun, the rain, and all the pollen that this fabulous weather brings forth.

I have been busy working outside in the yard and garden, but find time to craft and enjoy the craft room. Today, I have a card for the DoStamper Stars 281, which is a card from the Stampin' Up Catalog.

This is my take on the challenge. I textured and color the paper all at once, by simply applying color to the Petal Pair TIEF and I love how it turned out. The images was cut out using Big Shot and the Bouquet Bunch framelits. The sentiment is from Birthday Blossoms which I really like and feel sorry to see it retire at the end of this month.

The happy season is here.

What do I mean? Well, I mean summer time, gardening, swimming, growing season, new catalog, open windows, and time with friends. I love that our weather has finely realized that this is Spring time.

The colors are popping up everywhere around here. We did a lot of yard work over the weekend and some of my bulbs look so happy and colorful now. I love when plants start to wake up and reveal their beautiful colors.

Dostamper Stars #280 calls for colors combination. I followed the colors adding only Whisper White and Basic Black. The background is from the Tutti-Frutti dsp from the , then I created the front panel using Dragonfly Dreams and Falling Flower stamp sets. The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set, which will retire at the end of this month. I love this set and will miss it. Although I do not see myself parting with my set.

Tip: The front panel was made by 2 phase stamping. I first stamped the lower part, than use a scrap piece of paper to cover that so I could stamp the top without having the image transpose on the bottom. A nice little trick to keep things neat and separated.
