Well, this is the first few days of November and just yesterday I was outside grilling some sausage for our lunch. I stayed outside, enjoyed some rays of sun in my skin, and I am positive this is the best November ever since moving to WI. Love this beautiful and warm weather.
Other than the weather trend, I am still working on Birthday cards. I know I think I have made about 50 of them this past month alone, but the more I make it, the more ideas I get. Today's color inspiration is from the Dostamper Stars challenge 156. I kept the card very clean and simple, going for stamp images rather then DSP. The images are from Everything Eleanor, Awesomely Artistic, and also a retired favorite A Word for You. That wide ribbon in Cherry Cobbler is also retired, but a loved one. I started the card by first stamping the Everything Eleanor image in Crumb Cake at the left side. I placed the ribbon to have an idea where I want it to run, then I stamped the ferns from Awesomely Artistic stamp set. I could add more ferns, but the truth is that I can get carried away, so I decided to stop while still ahead. The sentiment was selected last when I knew how much space I had left. Ah, the beauty and satisfaction of less when that is more.
Thank you for visiting today. More inspiration for this challenge by other Dostamper Stars. Be well
